Happy Passover tonight...

To all of my stitching pals out there may we wish you a very fine Passover. My sister and I cooked up a great dinner tonight for my husband and kids and I will share a couple of prep photos - in one frame we have kugle with apples & cinnamon alongside fresh asparagus with lemon juice and garlic - the main course was prime rib which turned out so delish! Then to make it all perfect we set a Spring colored table with a beautiful flower arrangement of fresh lillies, daffodils and tulips - it just made me yearn for Spring even more - not easy since we still have at least a couple of feet of snow still on the ground!

New designs are brewing!

I have already started working on Halloween designs and started stitching the first one this week - as it progresses towards the being finished stage I will continue to post pics!

The only other thing to worry about is spring flooding here in Fargo - we have had a freakish amount of snow this winter, and all that snow still has to melt..,which means they are expecting another 100 Year Flood next month. Fargo has spent about $100 million dollars on flood improvements since the last big flood in 2009 but we will still need over 1.1 million sandbags to help protect the city. Not to mention the small fact that we live directly across the street from the river - I predict a lot of sleepless nights ahead of us.
