Sitting on the dock by the Bay!

Took the kids to the lake this trip - they went fishing (looking for Northern Pike with their Disney Princess and Cars fishing poles!!!) but alas nothing the fish weren't biting - gee I wonder why not! But I can tell you that the Mosquitos certainly were biting!!!

When we went out last night to light a bonfire in the fire pit overlooking the lake Aliya says "How do you turn it on?" - ahhh, do you think I have a couple of city kids???!! Anywhoo It is just so hot today - 95 sizzling degrees, high, high humidity and not even a ruffle of wind...I do believe there is a reason they are called "the dog days of summer".
