Happy Inaugural Day

And let us remember the importance of Martin Luther King and what an important role Dr. King played in American history. As we inaugurate President Barack Obama for another four year term my hope is that Democrats and Republicans can work together to serve our fair country as ONE to secure our freedom and right to be an American. That our children learn and grow and possess the values to continue the freedom and democracy of the United States of America. Let freedom ring!

Waiting for dinner tonight!

I am sitting in a Five Guys restaurant with my 4 year old son waiting for our burger and fry order to be ready - it is blizzard like winds here today - we're talking over 55 mph not to mention temps waaaay below zero. Take out for dinner, a crackling fire and quality stitching time - did I mention no dishes to wash tonight!

Cold and snowy days are baaaack....

At least for the next week or so with daily high temps hovering around zero - this morning with the wind chill factored in with the temp it was minus 16 degrees F! All the better enticement to want to stay in my warm and cozy house doing more designing and stitching. Oye vey!!! Our 6 year old and I were standing outside early this morning at the school bus stop beside our house and I snapped this photo because I swear you can just feel the cold here by looking at it!
