Oh Lordy, what have I gotten myself into....Monster Trucks!!!

My sister and I took my 6 year old and 4 year old to the annual Monster Truck Jam this afternoon and I swear I wanted to scream out "YeeHa!" numerous times during the afternoon! Let's just say that my 3 hours of truck watching could have been better spent stitching my current new design I am close to finishing - LOL! The kids had a grand old time and I sat and texted funny comments to my sister who sat 2 seats down from my seat - hehehe! Add to that ANOTHER 4 inches of fresh snow since yesterday and I just plum tuckered out now.

How cold can it go?!!

When I tell you it is super darn cold here I am not even close to being accurate - with the wind chill factored in this morning it was officially MINUS 52 degrees F - I kid you not! So to make you all feel better (and warmer) here is a snapshot of our weather from tonight the the next 5 days along with a wintery photo taken of a church in the deep freeze! If you can thaw your fingers out enough happy stitching!
