Spring Break begins!

First of all I will post the winners of the contest mid-week so sit tight and keep those Blog referrals coming!

Being that we either do a lot of traveling in a year or none at all and this year seems to fall into the "let's go away again dear!" - off to a sunny climate we go again this winter! There is only so much snow a girl can take! I thought I would share some vacation snaps with everyone today including a crazy tall statue of Marilyn Monroe....enjoy and happy stitching!!!

Here comes the contest...and New Releases!

Well my fellow stitchers, sorry it took me a couple of extra days to post my contest but we had a big blizzard roll through on Saturday night, all of Sunday and well into Monday we are just getting dug out of 8 foot snow banks!

Here is a photo of a new release available at the start of March at Nashville Market (through the Hoffman Distributing Room) - it is called "SAND DUNE BAY" and I just love it! I stitched the design 3 different ways and in a few days I will post a view of all 3 ways it was done and then this final version that gets published.

Blizzard!

Well it looks like we are right smack dab in the middle of a blizzard right now...it started snowing overnight and hasn't stopped since. I went out this morning and shoveled out front but looking now you would never know. The Interstate has been closed down officially and the City of Fargo has just issued a no- travel advisory within the city - meaning unless it is an emergency everyone needs to stay home. We've already had a foot of snow and are expecting ANOTHER foot before it ends tomorrow!
