Great Saying for summer!

I came across this terrific sign in a local home store and fell in love with it - I mean, could it possibly bring back any more summer memories with that fabulous word "s'mores" on it!!!  Temperatures are getting warmer here, the grass is sprouting lush and green and the sun is shining - hurray, somehow it has a way of making everyone feel more alive!

Owls away! Here is a little snip of my next Halloween design which will be a companion piece to the last pics that I posted - once this one is stitched and framed I will release them early summer so everyone has a chance to get them stitched before the end of October! 

If my posts are a little random I have to say that our daughter turns 7 today and our son turns 5 on June 15 not to mention school ends this month, we have to get into a summer routine and thank goodness but we avoided a big flood and yesterday the temperature started out at 48 degrees first thing in the morning and by 7 pm it was a sizzling 93 degrees!

Just Cross Stitch Halloween Collectors Issue 2013

Well folks, Just Cross Stitch magazine has just released the cover shot of their 2013 Halloween Issue and here it is - if you look on the right side you will see a 3-part "Switch-it" hanging ornament called "Frank N. Stein" which is my Pickle Barrel Designs design - yahoooo!  I believe there may be a larger and different design inside as well.  Be sure to pre-order a copy through your local needlework shop as it comes out on the early summer!
