The JUST CROSS STITCH invite has arrived!

Hooray, I officially received my invite from Just Cross Stitch magazine to participate in both the Halloween and Christmas Ornament Issue - I am delighted! Not to mention the small fact that I have already completed both ornaments already so I am ahead of the game.

I am preparing to release 3 new designs at Nashville Market at the beginning of March so stayed tuned to my blog because I am going to hold a giveaway starting next week and 2 winners will each receive all 3 new designs BEFORE any stores can buy them at Market - you lucky followers. I will post the rules between now and Monday so keep checking back!

Early Summer Smiles!

Doesn't this fabric swatch just make you smile and want to hum Beach Boy songs? My sister picked it out at Joann's Fabrics this afternoon and liked it so much that she bought 6 yards and doesn't even know what she will use it for yet! My guess is that she will get an armchair recovered using it - and no doubt it will make her smile every time she walks past it as well!

Oh Lordy, what have I gotten myself into....Monster Trucks!!!

My sister and I took my 6 year old and 4 year old to the annual Monster Truck Jam this afternoon and I swear I wanted to scream out "YeeHa!" numerous times during the afternoon! Let's just say that my 3 hours of truck watching could have been better spent stitching my current new design I am close to finishing - LOL! The kids had a grand old time and I sat and texted funny comments to my sister who sat 2 seats down from my seat - hehehe! Add to that ANOTHER 4 inches of fresh snow since yesterday and I just plum tuckered out now.
